There are a variety of tool steels available for selection and the MISUMI Automotive Business and Engineering team recognizes that the quality of manufacturing and material can maximize the life of machines. Therefore, in an effort to prove the quality of MISUMI material, they performed in-house, independent wear testing to compare different tool steel materials available in the market. 8620 alloy steel was also tested since it is used for NAAMS locating pins.
